Custom Outdoor Furniture
Outdoor furniture engineered for salt, sun and monsoon
Made-to-order outdoor and garden furniture for villas, resorts, beach clubs, rooftop bars and open-air restaurants. Grade A teak, marine-grade powder-coated aluminium, UV-stabilised synthetic rattan, Sunbrella-class solution-dyed acrylics and 316 stainless hardware — specified for tropical service life, not for a European summer.
Outdoor furniture for terraces, pools and open-air venues
We supply and manufacture premium outdoor furniture for private villas, hotels and resorts, beach clubs, SPA and wellness complexes, restaurants, rooftop bars and lounge terraces. You can take a ready collection, adapt one to your project, or have pieces built entirely to your drawings.
Every specification starts from the same question: where exactly will this sit, and what will the weather do to it? A sala 40 m (130 ft) from the waterline needs a different coating class than a sheltered courtyard 3 km inland.
Why furniture that works elsewhere fails in Phuket
Phuket receives roughly 2,200–3,000 mm (87–118 in) of rain a year, most of it between May and October. Add a UV index that regularly reaches 11+, salt aerosol along the coast and humidity that rarely drops below 70 %, and ordinary garden furniture starts failing inside one season.
Salt aerosol
Within roughly 1 km (0.6 mi) of the shoreline, chloride attacks 304 stainless, mild-steel frames and thin anodising. We move to 316 (A4) fixings and seaside-grade coatings.
UV load
Pigment-printed fabrics and untreated plastics chalk and fade within months. Solution-dyed acrylic and UV-stabilised HDPE hold colour for years, not weeks.
Monsoon rain
Cushions sit soaked for days. Standard polyurethane foam holds water and sours; reticulated quick-dry foam drains in about 2–4 hours after the rain stops.
Mould & mildew
At 80 % humidity, mildew colonises seams, zips and closed-cell padding. Open-cell drainage, mesh bases and mildew-resistant threads are mandatory, not optional.
Termites
Softwoods and untreated hardwoods are consumed fast. Teak, powder-coated aluminium and synthetic weave are unattractive to termites by nature.
Wind & storms
Squalls launch light furniture into pools and glass. We weight bases, specify anchoring for parasols and pergolas and detail stackable pieces for storm season.
What we build outdoor furniture from
Material choice is the whole game outdoors. We select each frame, weave, top and textile for the specific exposure of the zone it will live in — and we tell you honestly what will need maintenance and how often.
Grade A teak
Dense heartwood with natural oil content, dimensionally stable and naturally rot- and termite-resistant. Left untreated it silvers to grey in roughly 6–12 months; oiled once or twice a year it keeps its honey tone.
Powder-coated aluminium
Marine-grade extruded aluminium frames, chromate-free pre-treatment and a 60–80 micron seaside-class powder coat. No rust, low weight, easy to move for storm season.
316 stainless hardware
Bolts, screws, hinges and glides in A4 / 316 stainless. On coastal sites this single decision decides whether a chair survives three years or three months.
Synthetic rattan & rope
UV-stabilised HDPE weave and outdoor rope — colour-fast, non-absorbent, washable with fresh water, and unaffected by salt spray or insects.
Ceramic, HPL & stone tops
12 mm porcelain and 12–13 mm compact HPL for tables that stay flat and stain-free in full sun. Natural stone tops available through our stone workshop.
Performance textiles
Solution-dyed acrylic in the Sunbrella class (around 300 g/m²), mildew-resistant PTFE thread, drainage eyelets and quick-dry reticulated foam cores with mesh bases.
Outdoor furniture, by category
Premium solutions for terraces, pool decks, rooftops, SPA zones, beach clubs, restaurants and private villas. Categories combine freely inside a single outdoor furnishing package.

Outdoor sofas & modular seating
Sectional lounge systems with drainage-mesh seat bases and quick-dry cores. Typical seat height 380–420 mm (15–16.5 in), seat depth 600–700 mm (24–28 in).

Sun loungers & poolside
Sun beds around 2,000 × 750 mm (79 × 30 in) with multi-position backs, chlorine-tolerant weave and 316 stainless mechanisms.

Cabanas & outdoor daybeds
Shaded lounge beds, commonly 2,000 × 2,000 mm (79 × 79 in), with removable canopies for storm season.

Outdoor dining
Tables from 1,600 to 3,000 mm (63–118 in) in teak, ceramic or HPL, with stacking or nesting chairs for high-turnover venues.

Rattan & woven furniture
Hand-woven UV-stabilised HDPE over aluminium frames — the tropical answer to natural rattan, which swells and mildews outdoors.

Hanging chairs & swings
Suspended seats and daybed swings with stainless suspension, engineered fixings and load-tested anchor points.

Parasols & shade
Centre-pole and cantilever parasols from 3,000 to 4,000 mm (10–13 ft) with weighted or in-ground bases and acrylic canopies.

Pergolas & screens
Shade structures, louvred roofs and privacy screens — see Terrace & Facade Systems for the architectural range.

Outdoor kitchens & BBQ
Cooking islands and bar counters with stone or porcelain worktops, marine-ply or aluminium carcasses and 316 stainless fittings.

Fire pits & fire features
Gas and bio-ethanol fire tables and bowls in stone, concrete and corrosion-resistant steel for evening lounge zones.

Outdoor armchairs
Lounge and dining armchairs in teak, aluminium, rope and weave — stackable versions available for storage during the monsoon.

Outdoor tables
Dining, coffee, side and bar tables. Ceramic and HPL tops resist sun-bleaching, ring marks and standing water far better than timber.

How long does outdoor furniture actually last in Phuket?
With the right specification, 7–10 years and more. Grade A teak, powder-coated aluminium, UV-stabilised HDPE weave and solution-dyed acrylic all age slowly here. The parts that fail first are almost always the cheap ones: 304 or zinc-plated fixings, pigment-printed fabric, standard polyurethane foam and untreated softwood. We specify those out from the start.
Teak or synthetic rattan — which is better?
Different jobs. Teak is the better choice for dining tables, benches and anything with a natural, architectural look; it needs oiling once or twice a year if you want to keep the honey colour, and none at all if you accept the silver-grey patina. Synthetic rattan over an aluminium frame is better for lounge seating, poolside and high-turnover commercial use: it is lighter, colour-fast, non-absorbent and washable with fresh water.
Why does hardware matter so much near the sea?
Because chloride finds the weakest metal in the assembly. A perfect teak frame will still stain and loosen if it is bolted together with 304 stainless within about 1 km (0.6 mi) of the shoreline. We use 316 (A4) stainless for fixings, hinges, glides and mechanisms on all coastal projects.
What happens to cushions in the monsoon?
Nothing, if they are built for it. We use reticulated quick-dry foam with an open cell structure, drainage mesh at the base, eyelets in the cover and mildew-resistant thread. Water passes straight through and the cushion is dry in roughly 2–4 hours. We still recommend storing covers during long closures, and we design storage boxes for that.
Can you build to our drawings or a reference photo?
Yes. We manufacture from renders, technical drawings, specifications or a single reference image, adapting dimensions, frames, weaves, fabrics and colours. Indoor pieces for the same project can be produced alongside — see Custom Furniture.
Do you supply the pergolas and decking too?
Yes. Shade structures, louvred roofs, privacy screens, decking and facade cladding are handled by our terrace division — see Terrace & Facade Systems. Furniture and structure specified together avoids the usual mismatch of tones and heights.
What are the lead times?
Stock collections ship quickly. Made-to-order and fully custom production is typically 8–14 weeks depending on volume, materials and finishing, plus shipping. Tell us your handover date early and we plan production around it.
Do you deliver outside Thailand?
Yes. We are based in Phuket and ship worldwide, with export packing, logistics and on-site assembly arranged as part of the project.
